COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Genenta Science (Nasdaq: GNTA) was established in 2014 as a biotech company specializing in developing cell therapies for the treatment of cancer. In 2026 the company opened up to a wider market, evolving into a next-generation strategic industrial consolidator focused on private businesses specialized in sectors regulated by Italian national security: from biochnology to cybersecurity, from defense to aerospace.
In 2021 Genenta became quoted on Nasdaq, becoming the first and only Italian biotech company to be quoted on the international stock market.
BIOGRAPHIES
PIERLUIGI PARACCHI
Entrepreneur and investor in the biotech industry, founder and CEO of Genenta Science, an Italian company quoted on Nasdaq and working on developing gene therapies against tumors.
He graduated in Economy from the the Catholic University of Milan, and founded Quantica SGR and co-founded companies such as Altheia Science and AurorA-TT, promoting technology transfer between universities and businesses.
He was one of the protagonists in the exit of EOS – Ethical Oncology Science, one of the most significant exits in the history of Italian biotech.
STEFANIA MAZZOLENI
Director of Program Development at Genenta Science, with over fifteen years of experience in the development of pharmaceuticals and cell therapies. Her background is in biotechnology and oncology.
At Genenta Science, she coordinates activities in Program Development, contributing to the advancement of clinical projects and the development of new treatment strategies in the field of genetic therapy against cancer.
LUIGI NALDINI
Director of the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-Tiget), recognized as one of the pioneers in gene therapy. He is Professor of Cellular Biology and Gene Therapy at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University of Milan.
His research has led to the development of lentiviral vectors, crucial in the clinical application of gene therapy for serious genetic diseases.
He is the co-founder of several biotech companies, including Genenta Science, Chroma Medicine and Genespire, and has received numerous international awards for his contributions to regenerative medicine and biomedical innovation.
